1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Riveon.gg ("Riveon", "we", "us", or "our"), a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables community organizers to create interactive pick'em-style fan engagement experiences around major sports and esports events. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Description of Service

Riveon is a fan engagement and entertainment platform. The platform provides interactive tools that allow users to participate in pick'em games by selecting outcomes in sports and esports events, earning virtual points, and competing on leaderboards within their communities.

Important: Riveon does NOT facilitate, support, or involve real-money wagering, betting, or gambling of any kind. No real money, cryptocurrency, or monetary equivalent can be won, lost, staked, or exchanged through participation in any activity on the platform. All points and rankings are purely for entertainment and community engagement purposes.

The platform is a digital content tool (SaaS) sold to community organizers who use it to enhance fan engagement within their Discord servers, websites, or other community channels.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Riveon as a participant. Organizers (account holders who create and manage tournament experiences) must be at least 18 years of age. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

4. Account Registration and Security

You may register using Google Sign-In, Discord, or other authentication methods we provide. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that we reasonably believe have been compromised.

5. Subscription Plans and Payments

Riveon offers Free and Pro plans for organizers. The Free plan provides access to limited game modules at no cost. The Pro plan unlocks additional features and customization options.

Payments are processed securely through authorized payment processors. All payment processing, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT compliance is handled on our behalf.

Pricing is displayed in the applicable currency at the time of purchase. All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

6. Refund Policy

Our full refund policy is available at riveon.gg/refund-policy. In summary, we offer a 14-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Pro plan, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date by contacting our support team.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to manipulate game results, leaderboards, or scoring systems
• Create multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure or services
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract source code from the platform
• Use the platform to distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or entity

8. Intellectual Property

All content, design, trademarks, and technology on Riveon are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from our platform without prior written consent. Organizers retain ownership of their tournament configurations, custom branding, and community content.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Riveon and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of or inability to use the platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at alex@riveon.gg. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Georgia.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the platform.
